As a 3rd generation insurance agent, Cori took over her family's 48 year old Allstate Agency, and was responsible for protecting over 3,500 households in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. She spent several years as an award-winning insurance agent before deciding that corporate America didn't fulfill her passion for the Equine and Cattle industries' needs. In October of 2018, Covered By Cori was born, providing coverage for farm and ranch owners, horse trainers, and all things "Agribusiness" across America. February 2022, Cori purchased the Legendary Roger Peters Livestock Agency in Nebraska. Merging her current book of business and Roger Peters Livestock book of business has made Covered By Cori LLC one of the largest Equine Insurers in the Nation. Cori is an avid hunter and fisherman. She enjoys showing horses and shooting skeet. Her right-hand man is her son, Kanyon. Cori has a passion for helping her customers protect their legacies for generations to come.

Sharon comes with over 30 years of Insurance experience. She grew her Allstate Agency to be one of the largest in the country before retiring from the company and handing it over to Cori in 2015. Sharon is very passionate about making sure that each and every customer has a white glove experience.

Kristen was born horse crazy. Her love for horses, competition and the western way of life are just a few of the reasons she is passionate about Equine Insurance. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Equine Science from Colorado State University. Protecting a legacy is nothing new to Kristen, she played a part in Silver Spur Ranches receiving the AQHA Best of the Remuda Award. Her son Kasen is a cutting horse trainer in Lipan, TX. Additionally, Kristen is an avid competitor in both the NCHA and NRCHA and also serves on the Colorado State University Equine Science Advisory Board. Kristen is currently serving on the Executive Committee for the NCHA and is dedicated to preserving both the sport and its heritage. Contact Kristen for a quote!

Bailey was born and raised in Augusta, Kansas and attended Kansas State University where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science with a certificate in Equine Science. Bailey grew up showing cutting horses, but it was her time at K-State that sparked her interest for the Equine Reproductive industry. She followed that passion by accepting a breeding internship at the 6666's Ranch in Guthrie, TX, where she gained more knowledge and experience. Bailey made the move to Stephenville, TX in Sept. 2019 to her new home at Brazos Valley Stallion Station where she ws the Processing Lab Manager. It has always been a dream of hers to breed and raise future champions. She now spends her time showing in the cutting and working cowhorse shows. Bailey is excited to use her knowledge and experience in the equine industry to serve horse owners and ranchers at superior level.

Brooke's roots stem back to New Mexico and Florida but she has called Weatherford, TX home for 10 years. She attended New Mexico State on a breakaway roping scholarship and received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Business and Marketing from Colorado Tech. Growing up on the back of a horse in the roping pen, her love for the equine industry still runs deep. Competing and training is still a huge passion of Brooke’s and she’s blessed to share it with her beautiful daughter, Bristol Sage. Chesney has entrusted Covered By Cori since she first started to insure her own horses, and now that she’s a recent Texas Tech University graduate she has became a member of the team herself. Chesney plans to use her degree in Animal Science to be a bridge between her clients and the ever changing and evolving industry standards. Between showing in NRCHA, SHTX, and RHAA Chesney enjoys all aspects of training and finishing her own show horses. Chesney is all too familiar with generational legacies as she comes from 5 generations of corn and soybean farmers in Central Nebraska. Morgan Hood was born and raised in Louisiana on her family farm. She grew up team roping, tying goats and barrel racing. Her family has owned cattle for over 30 years. She has followed her two passions of helping others and all things western into protecting your families legacy. When she is not on the rodeo trail, she enjoys spending time with her family, hunting and fishing. Michaela has had a passion for agriculture since she was a young girl. Growing up in a blue-collar family in Sedalia, Colorado she developed a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for the value of hard work. She has an unwavering passion for agriculture. Throughout college she was deeply involved in show cattle, and various farmers and ranchers associations. After earning her bachelor’s degrees in Agriculture Business and Agricultural Communications from the University of Wyoming her career was launched into the agribusiness field in Billings, Montana. Michaela is an avid fisherman and loves to take adventures with her dog, Lucy May. She is dedicated to protecting the livelihoods of farmers and ranchers, using her knowledge and expertise to provide them with the insurance coverage they need.
